Helen Dallimore has been nominated for Best Female Actor in a Musical at the 2015 Helpmann Awards for her performance as Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brothers.
Helen’s acclaimed performance at Sydney’s Hayes Theatre earned her a place alongside Caroline O’Connor (Anything Goes), Madeleine Jones (Once) and Patrice Tipoki (Les Misérables) in the category.
The nomination follows the extraordinary Sydney season of Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers, which became the fastest-selling production in the history of the Hayes Theatre, selling every ticket during its extended engagement.
The 2015 Helpmann Awards will be presented at Sydney’s Capitol Theatre on Monday 27 July 2015, with the ceremony broadcast live on Foxtel Arts from 7.30pm.
